He wants to pick up the dandiya sticks and dance his way out."I love dandiya. Being a Gujarati, dandiya is in my blood. During my college days, I was a champion in dandiya and used to win the first prize in it," Sharman said.Sharing past memories of the festival, he said, "During this time, you are allowed to go out even at night and play dandiya, besides you have girls in your groups too. This makes it the best time." His film Gang of Ghosts is a remake of the 2012 Bengali film Bhooter Bhabishyat, of which he says, "Gang... is a great concept, very unique and exceptional. Though it has an ensemble cast, I chose to be part of it as I have seen the original and was very impressed. I play the character that Sabyasachi Chakrabarty did in the Bengali version, that of a struggling writer. And this is the only character that has been changed slightly in the Hindi version while the other characters remain the same."Next he will be seen in Faraz Haider’s war comedy War Chhod Na Yaar, which also stars Jaaved Jaffrey, Soha Ali Khan and Sanjay Mishra. It will release on October 11.

Hollywood actress Judi Dench, who went through the drastic surgery last month, after she had complained of chronic pain for several years, is back to action just six-weeks after the operation. The actress recently walked down the red carpet to promote her film Philomena.She recently attended the London screening of the film, and while walking through the red carpet, she didn’t need any cane or something. She says, "The scar's from here to here, there to there. I have a completely new knee now. It's brilliant. When I had it done on September 6, I said to my surgeon 'On October 16 I will walk up a red carpet unaided', and so I did. You set your mind to a goal and go for it."While speaking to the sources at the event, she revealed that she has no such plans to retire from acting, as this is the word which is banned at her house. She adds, "I'm not feeling my age at all. I am about 43, a tall willowy blonde 43-year-old with long legs. I don't want to slow down at all. We don't say the word retirement in our house. Old and retired are totally banned. Energy keeps me going."We are in the minority of people who are doing a job we chose to do and can make a living at. The star actress Sonakshi Sinha recently attended an event held in Ahmedabad where she had to experience something bitter that was hard to bear. She was promoting her upcoming film in the event, which was organised comprised of an all female audience.When she took the stage many women mobbed on the dias covering her completely, not giving her enough space for breathing. The situation worsened when a women’s elbow hit Sonakshi’s face leaving no option for her but to leave the event immediately. The actress who had maintained a calm demeanor lost her patience and got all worked up. An eyewitness revealed, “She got irritated and decided to leave. With great difficulty her staff could make way for the actress to back to the hotel room.”Apart from this, Sonakshi Sinha recently graced the opening ceremony of 15th Mumbai Film Festival at the Liberty Cinema Hall in Mumbai. Buzz from Tinseltown has that Jackie Chan has joined the brigade, which intends to fight against the massacre of elephants for ivory producing as he has come up in support of the Canada-Germany co-production Gambling on Extinction.It is learnt that documentary would be presented by Real to Reel Productions and German partner a&o buero film production.For those unaware, it looks into the matter where the illegal trade of wildlife products takes place, such as ivory, rhino horn and tiger parts. "Everyone should dispel the myths that ivory jewelry and carvings are made from tusks that have fallen off the elephant or from elephants that have died of natural causes," said Chan."This is simply not true. Elephants are being hunted and killed for their tusks. The only way to stop the slaughter is to cut the demand. We are all consumers, so we can all make a difference," he added. "Post Fukrey, I have refused seven scripts. It's important to do what you completely believe in," Vishakha said. "I am game for anything - from drama, comedy, to thriller, romance and family entertainer. I want to try my hands at everything. I want to focus on good scripts where I have a pivotal role," added the actress, who will soon make her Malayalam debut with Rajesh Pillai's Motorcycle Diaries."The divide between the film industries is diminishing. I am comfortable in multiple languages. Once in a while, if good scripts like Motorcycle Diaries in Malayalam or a romantic comedy ValebRaja in Tamil comes my way, I will take them up," she said.Even though she is quite a known her in film industry, but doesn’t let that take a toll in her personal life. "I am not part of the rat race. At the end of the day, I know I did it on my own without a mentor, godfather or recommendations," Vishakha said. During to his acting commitments, singer-actor Justin Timberlake took gap of seven years to release the second volume of The 20/20 Experience, which came out in September, as assured that he won’t take this long break from music again.Quizzed on his plans for another record, he said, "If I had to answer that question now I would say no, but you never know. When you have a vision and you have something to say then it`s time to say it, I don`t think you can rush it. But I will say that making all this music again opened me up in a way that because we did wait so long everything felt fresh and new again."Timberlake also said that his next album would vary from The 20/20 Experience. "I can tell you that if we were to do it again soon then it probably wouldn`t be 20-25 songs. It would probably be a different effort towards something else, but that could be exciting. The answer is I have no idea but my gut tells me that I don`t think it`s going to be seven years," he said.We like it!

Film industry’s well-known director Krishna Shah has recently died on October 13. Veteran actress Zeenat Aman, who had worked with the filmmaker in film Shalimar, says he was a warm and hospitable man, who loved cinema and was always excited about the new projects.The 61-year-old actress about her coordinal terms with Krishna Shah said, “I met Krishna Shah for the last time about eight to nine months ago at his home in Juhu where he had a get-together for close friends. He was his usual friendly effusive self, looking after all his guests personally, making sure everyone was comfortable. Krishna Shah was a very warm and hospitable man. I had great fun shooting Shalimar with him. My god that was 35 years ago, it seems like yesterday.”She added that Shalimar was made simultaneously in Hindi and English and with international stars of the calibre of Rex Harrison and Gina Lolobrigida. “Off course, Gina later backed out, and we had Sylvia Miles instead. In fact, the film created a whole lot news and speculation even before we began shooting. I remember we were in Bangalore for the shooting in two languages English and Hindi. Dharamji (her co-star Dharmendra) and I were burning the midnight oil. When we were not shooting, he was with his English tutor brushing up his English dialogues, and I was with my Hindi tutor improving my Hindi,” Zeenat recalled.Zeenat added that Krishna was caring person who always made sure all of us were comfortable. “He loved cinema. I remember once when we met, he spent considerable time speaking of my cameo in Bhopal Express. He would always be excited about the next film that he was doing, and then the one after that... In today's time, it is important to reach out to the audience. So we have to do promotions. So, why not enjoy the whole process? I thought, let's have fun.
