The multi-talented chap is known for his roles in films like 100 Days, Fire, Earth, Salaam Namaste, Singh is Kingg and 3 Idiots and others."Being the son or daughter of a legendary film personality you get more respect. But I have never used that as an influence to enter industry. It is not that I got work because of him. My father did not do a film for me or launched me, he wanted us to do things on our own," Javed said."Rather I never thought I will enter the film industry, it happened all by chance. Destiny played a part and brought me here in this industry," he said. Jaffrey is known for his versatility, as he has done positive, negative as well as comic roles. "I like to play all kind of roles. You can't do same stuff every time as it becomes boring. Comedy is my soft spot. But I love doing action, thriller, drama and negative. I am not comfortable with sexuality, intimate scenes," he said.Next, he will appear in debutante director Faraz Haider's War Chhod Na Yaar. "I am playing captain Qureshi from the Punjab region of Pakistan. So my tone in the film is Punjabi-Urdu. The film establishes relationship in an interesting way. I had great fun doing this film," he said.The film also stars Sharman Joshi and Soha Ali Khan!

By now everyone must be well-aware of the fact actress Shruti Haasan was recently stalked by her fan, who tried to barge into her house, where she was alone. However, Shruti put up a brave front, and managed to stop the stalker from entering her house.Later, it turned out that the man of staked her was none other than a spot boy, Ashok Shankar Trimukhe, who has worked with Shruti in the past. Trimukhe’s family is shocked that the actress went onto file a police complaint against him.The family members say that Trimukhe is the main earning member of the family of seven, and he was just trying to approach Haasan hoping that she would be able to get his younger brother a permanent job. Trimukhe's sister Shalini, 30, said, "His arrest came as a shock. My brother learnt that Shruti's sister Akshara is embarking on a film career, and thought she would need a spot boy. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan must be very proud of his feat as he went on to receive the Hridaynath Mangeshkar award for the third time for his contribution to the film industry. It is learnt that the prestigious award was set to be presented to Big B by great singer Lata Mangeshkar, however, she failed to make it to the event due to health issues, and hence filmmaker Subhash Ghai did the honours. "I got everything in life from Mumbai, my success, my stardom, my wife, my children and now even grandchildren. I am truly proud to be a Mumbaikar as the city has given me the most," Bachchan said after receiving the award. Also, he went on to appreciate Lata Mangeshkar at the ceremony and also promised that next time if he wins the award, he will speak in her mother tongue, which happens to be Marathi. "Lataji has been exceptionally kind to us even in past when she sang for Jaya. Sadly she couldn't make it to today's function due to her illness, yet she apologized which is too humble on her part and status. I am truly honoured by this award," he said. Keep winning, Big B!

Initially Jhanvi was negative but now she has turned positive and now I can relate myself to the character of Jhanvi. Jhanvi has now become my identity. The actress was last seen as the judge of the dance reality show Nach Baliye 5 and is gearing up to judge another season of the show.She said, “TV is easier, and for endorsements, I can command when I want to work. Fukrey actress Vishakha Singh believes in doing quality work; that is the reason that she has rejected back-to-back films, which came her way after the success of Fukrey, which also starred Ali Fazal, Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, Richa Chadda and Priya Anand.Also seen in films like Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey and Ankur Arora Murder Case, the actress is keen on doing roles, which offer her to prove her mettle in acting. "Post Fukrey, I have refused seven scripts. It's important to do what you completely believe in," Vishakha said. "I am game for anything - from drama, comedy, to thriller, romance and family entertainer. I want to try my hands at everything. I want to focus on good scripts where I have a pivotal role," added the actress, who will soon make her Malayalam debut with Rajesh Pillai's Motorcycle Diaries."The divide between the film industries is diminishing. I am comfortable in multiple languages. Once in a while, if good scripts like Motorcycle Diaries in Malayalam or a romantic comedy ValebRaja in Tamil comes my way, I will take them up," she said.Even though she is quite a known her in film industry, but doesn’t let that take a toll in her personal life. If I like the script, I go for it. For me, the script has to be interesting. Even if I have two to three scenes in a film, I don't mind doing it if they are worth it," the 37-year-old said.Way to go!

Film industry’s well-known director Krishna Shah has recently died on October 13. Veteran actress Zeenat Aman, who had worked with the filmmaker in film Shalimar, says he was a warm and hospitable man, who loved cinema and was always excited about the new projects.The 61-year-old actress about her coordinal terms with Krishna Shah said, “I met Krishna Shah for the last time about eight to nine months ago at his home in Juhu where he had a get-together for close friends. He was his usual friendly effusive self, looking after all his guests personally, making sure everyone was comfortable. Krishna Shah was a very warm and hospitable man. I had great fun shooting Shalimar with him. My god that was 35 years ago, it seems like yesterday.”She added that Shalimar was made simultaneously in Hindi and English and with international stars of the calibre of Rex Harrison and Gina Lolobrigida. “Off course, Gina later backed out, and we had Sylvia Miles instead. In fact, the film created a whole lot news and speculation even before we began shooting. I remember we were in Bangalore for the shooting in two languages English and Hindi. Dharamji (her co-star Dharmendra) and I were burning the midnight oil. When we were not shooting, he was with his English tutor brushing up his English dialogues, and I was with my Hindi tutor improving my Hindi,” Zeenat recalled.Zeenat added that Krishna was caring person who always made sure all of us were comfortable. “He loved cinema. I remember once when we met, he spent considerable time speaking of my cameo in Bhopal Express. He would always be excited about the next film that he was doing, and then the one after that... He would discuss the movies he wanted me to be in.”The film Shalimar might not have worked at the box office, but the songs by RD Burman play on to this day. They were like Aaina Wohi Rehta Hai, Hum Bewafaa Hargiz Na The and One Two Cha Cha Cha.
