After coming out with the confession regarding his homosexuality, singer Ricky Martin felt liberated, and about the same, he spoke recently. It was in 2010 that Martin accepted being a gay, and claimed that it would be wonderful if he can successfully do that again.Martin, 41, said that he was really scared about the feedback of his peers. "I was terrified. I had to really work on my self esteem to understand that it`s all about self love, and other people`s opinions weren`t what was important," Martin wrote to a fan during a Facebook chat."What was important was accepting myself exactly as I am, as I was born. I insist, it wasn`t easy, but wow, I wish I could come out again because it felt like I could `high five` God`," he added. For those unaware, the singer has twins Matteo and Valentino via surrogacy. Earlier, the Livin` la Vida Loca hitmaker had also revealed that he used to bully those people who were gay. "I look back now and realise I would bully people who I knew were gay. I had internalized homophobia. To realise that was confronting to me. I wanted to get away from that," Martin said."I didn`t want them (his twin sons) growing up in a house of lies or thinking that there was something wrong with being gay," he added.Good you realized it!

Many must have heard that for his upcoming Vishal Bharadwaj’s Haider, actor Shahid Kapoor has agreed to go bald for the film. So talking about it recently actor Shahid said that his decision to do the same was driven by the fact that the look is necessary for his role in the movie.For those unaware, Haider is the adaptation of William Shakespeare's Hamlet. "I thought it is justified. When I read the script, I found it very interesting and I have tried to do something shocking whenever I have worked with Vishal. With him I have always tried to do something different," the actor said at a promotional event of his upcoming release R...Rajkumar on Friday. Meanwhile, at the same time, Shahid confessed that his best performance was in Vishal’s Kaminey, which came out in 2009.  "He is a phenomenal director. He has given me Kaminey. It has been the most appreciated role of my life till now. It's great working with him again. Superstar Amitabh Bachchan recently attended annual lecture at the Penguin in New Delhi where he unveiled about the thoughts of his father Mr. Harivansh Ray Bachchan. He said he remains puzzled by his father's habit in his last days of watching Hindi films rather than turning to his greatest companion his beloved books.Bachchan said his father had called him his greatest poetry. “My biggest problem in my life I do not know whether I am a free verse or a couplet, a chaupai or a shloka. I don't know what he saw in the flickering darkness it had to be more than Hindi cinema's excessive poetic justice in three hours! Did he see a flame that burns itself up lighting up the fire of the written word within? We are our own monster an animal of many animal parts.”During the conversation, Big B also confessed that he would try and build a girls’ school. “True equality can only exist if the whole society embraces it,” he said. However, when he was quizzed about his real-life heroes, he named out Nelson Mandela, Indira Gandhi and Mahatma Gandhi.Niro, 70, is presently in Goa, India, where he will be participating at the ongoing THiNK Fest 2013. Sharing his thoughts, he said, "I have many real life heroes as my inspiration. Mandela, Peres, James Dean, Marlon Brando and from India... Indira Gandhi and Mahatma Gandhi. They are strong people with a big heart," De Niro said on the sidelines of the festival. "I try to be more empathetic towards my characters. I try to understand its position by putting myself in their shoes. I feel I am lucky to get into these lives without having to pay a real price," he added. When confessed that he doesn’t remember his early film days, he said, "I really don't remember..." He also said that he has no idea why he wanted to be in cinema and he started his career at the age of 16. "I dropped out of school and enrolled in Stella Adler's acting school, to the surprise of my friends and family. When she (Stella) asked me why I joined this profession, I didn't have an answer. She answered on my behalf that since I wanted to express myself so I chose this profession. I nodded and repeated the same line," he said. Speaking of Indian trip, he added, "Indian people are very nice. I came here 35 years ago and promised that I will be back in couple of years. I got busy and even tried to come last year.
