The multifaceted star, Farhan Khan has formed a rock band and has planned to tour with it, performing shows. Called Farhan Live, the nine-member band has been performing in different places around the world, including Goa (performance venue- the annual Carnival Celebrations of Goa, where around 15,000 people were gathered). Farhan along with music director Pritam also performed recently in Dubai.Singer-music composer Shankar Mahadevan's young son, Siddharth Mahadevan, who provided hit Bhaag Milkha Bhaag title track, is also touring with Farhan Akhtar's band and feels privileged to be working along with the star.An elated Siddharth shares, “This is really an unbelievable opportunity and I consider myself very fortunate and humbled to be a part of Farhan's tour. He's such an incredible all-round artist and just to share the same stage as him will be an honour in itself. I just want to get on there and do my best and enthral all my audiences to the best of my abilities!”Farhan Live comprises Shannon Donald (vocals), Sarosh Izedyar (lead guitarist), Dibyajyoti Nath (bass guitar) Darshan Doshi (drums) and Umaang Doshi (keyboard), among others. Shanti Dynamite was ranked at number 48 as a latest entrant, by beating Bollywood most controversial actress Sunny Leone, Veena Malik and Poonam Pandey. The top 3 are Katrina who tops the rank, Priyanka coming second, and Drashti Dhami third. Playboy popular TV star Shanti Dynamite who hosts adult chat show in UK , she began her career as a teenager, starting as a glamour model on the popular hotel Voyeur, A UK based topless show and she is all set to enter Bollywood.Clearly delighted, Shanti Dynamite said: "I'm hugely flattered. B-town actress Kareena Kapoor Khan is all excited about her upcoming films, however she is looking forward to the most is Dev Benegal’s film Bombay Samurai, where she will star opposite Farhan Akhtar. Career-wise things are not flourishing for Kareena, as two have her films, Satyagraha and Gori Tere Pyaar Mein failed to impress the audience.  However, she thinks that things will change with Bombay Samurai, which is a crazy zany rollicking roller coaster ride with amazing twists and turns. Sources close to the project, said, "There are seven to eight pivotal characters. But Kareena and Farhan Akhtar preside over the show.""They play a couple like no other seen before in our films. They are wacky and unpredictable. The two actors will have a ball playing their outgoing zestful characters," the sources added. It is learnt that both Bebo and Farhan are keen to work with each other. Says Farhan, "I've seen Kareena's work. She is consistently excellent. I was keen to work with her. Dev's film gives us a chance to try something different."Kareena, on the other side, "I admire Farhan for being multi-talented. Which other director has done so well as an actor? Farhan took my breath away in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. I am really looking forward to working with him."Little birdie chirps that the film will go on the floors post Kareena's annual holiday in Switzerland in December.

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan recently attended annual lecture at the Penguin in New Delhi where he unveiled about the thoughts of his father Mr. Harivansh Ray Bachchan. He said he remains puzzled by his father's habit in his last days of watching Hindi films rather than turning to his greatest companion his beloved books.Bachchan said his father had called him his greatest poetry. “My biggest problem in my life I do not know whether I am a free verse or a couplet, a chaupai or a shloka. I don't know what he saw in the flickering darkness it had to be more than Hindi cinema's excessive poetic justice in three hours! Did he see a flame that burns itself up lighting up the fire of the written word within? We are our own monster an animal of many animal parts.”During the conversation, Big B also confessed that he would try and build a girls’ school. “True equality can only exist if the whole society embraces it,” he said. Bachchan referred to feature films as the great passion of India cutting across all other performing arts and the Indian film industry as absorbing all religions, languages and cultures in it.“The filmy ambrosia's nectar so intoxicating that it has achieved what that no Indian politician has ever done,” said Bachchan before posing the question "In our cinema bad guys always come to no good what about in India itself? “Indian cinema has no nuclear bomb never suffers a recession but people call it is degenerate, trebling, trashy, flashy hocus-focus,” said the actor.
