After the failure of his directorial debut Aryan, filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor made successful comeback in direction with the release of Rock On!, with which Farhan Akhtar also made his acting-singing debut. The film was produced by Farhan and Ritesh Sidhwani’s production company Excel Entertainment.

Vidya Balan’s last hit came in the form with Kahaani, as her last release Ghanchakkar failed to entertain the audience. And now she is looking forward to change the scenario with her upcoming film Shaadi ke Side Effects, for which a release date has been finalized.It is learnt that the comedy flick will come out on Valentine’s Day. "My next movie is releasing next year on Feb 14. It's with Farhan Akhtar. We are almost done with the shoot. Just two days' work left," Vidya told reporters here.

However, now she gears up for yet another release Shaadi Ke Side Effects, where she will be seen opposite Farhan Akhtar.Director Saket Chaudhary says, "The film attempts to explain what most people fail to understand in a lifetime — what makes a marriage work!"Producer Pritish Nandy says, "The film is peppered with loads of post-marriage side effects. When Sid (played by Farhan) makes a mistake, he says sorry. And when his wife Trisha (played by Vidya) makes a mistake, he says sorry again! It is a witty, sexy, hilarious comedy that will warm your hearts."He further says, "We have Farhan and Vidya, together for the first time on screen. They make the perfect couple, each fighting for space in their marriage."The theatrical trailer will be out with Krrish 3, which releases on November 1, and stars Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, Vivek Oberoi as leads.
