She is not only a music producer and musical engineer, she is also a very talented singer and songwriter. Self-produced, singer, songwriter, and composer Mike Trapp of CrimsonFaced earned this weeks spotlight for his kick-ass industrial and experimental type of music. Manic Street Preachers are an alternative rock band from Blackwood, Wales, formed in 1986. Often referred to as "the Manics", they are James Dean Bradfield (vocals, guitars), Nicky Wire (bass, occasional vocals) and Sean Moore (drums, backing vocals, occasional trumpet). The band were originally a quartet: lyricist and rhythm guitarist Richey Edwards mysteriously vanished on 1 February 1995. He was declared presumed deceased in November 2008. The Manics released their debut album Generation Terrorists in 1992. Their combination of androgynous glam punk imagery, outspoken invective and songs about "culture, alienation, boredom and despair" soon gained them a loyal following and cult status. The band's later albums retained a politicized and intellectual lyrical style, while adopting a broader alternative rock sound.

Trademark unison vocals, poetic lyricism, and effortlessly nuanced musicianship: these are the defining assets of the Bishop Boys, a young musical duo who are studiously redefining the singer-songwriter genre.

In their latest 2020 single "Gin & Tonic", The Bishop Boys take us back to the glory of endless summer with nostalgic guitar riffs and anthemic hooks. The single's official video shows the duo's maiden voyage in a WWI-era biplane above the Detroit River - a nod to the band's namesake, the Canadian WWI flying ace Billy Bishop.

Jennifer Grassman is an Alternative Pop singer/songwriter from Austin, Texas. Her sound is a unique blend of Tori Amos, Sara Bareilles, and Amy Lee with a twist of Goth and Doris Day.
