Interview with Devon Michael: "There's something about Devon" - 11 views

  •
If you like Ne Yo Drake, Jay-Z, and Kanye West, then you have to listen to the featured artist of the week with Devon Michael. The best part about Devon Michael is his originality. You get more than one speed of music from this album. It travels from great driving music, to the dance floor, to the street, and to the bedroom. It is impossible to get bored with this album, because there's is no one constant. It makes the listener wonder what the next song will bring. If you enjoy R&B and Hip Hop, you get the best of both worlds and it's impossible to just listen to once, in fact, you get hooked. 90s Indie Rock Bands and Albums: The Best Band You've Never Heard? Slint. - 0 views

  •
This is an article about Slint, a relatively unknown band from Louisville, Kentucky that has survived as a cult favorite even though they only released a pair of albums and a single containing less than twenty songs over twenty years ago. The thought that such a thing could happen and that a band could exist as an icon despite such little output is the impetus behind this article.

Enjoy a 4-track preview with a special guest appearence http://thegreatunknowns.podomatic.com/entry/2010-02-05T07_04_39-08_00 Chamber of Echoes is an industrial band that embodies the essence of a powerful singer with a gothic dose of musical melodies which make this music artist a force to be reckoned with. If Amy Lee of Evanescence and Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails were fused together in an accidental transporter incident, the result would be the birth of Klaryssa Korok, the heart and soul of Chamber of Echoes. Introducing rocks best new and unheard talents: Forewalls - 0 views

  •
Listen to runner up band from Mt. SAC's 1st Annual Battle of the Bands. They surpassed 14 other bands to finish in the 2nd spot. This says a lot about how good a band that has only been together for five months. Personally, I was disappointed they didn't win the BOTB event. Talent scouts were more interested in FOREWALLS than any other performer. Listen to an exclusive 4-track preview with a special guest appearence with the band, right here: http://thegreatunknowns.podOmatic.com/entry/2010-04-23T08_17_14-07_00 Read my exclusive interview with the band: http://greatunknownsmusicexpose.blogspot.com/2010/04/introducing-rocks-best-new-and-unheard.html Thanks for checking out this weeks episode. Vogue In The Movement is a catchy Pop Indie Rock band from Bakersfield, CA. They released their first EP in 2008 and they ve generated nearly 2 million hits in little over one year. Their music may be a little trendy and commerical, but their fun. If you like Fall Out Boy or Green Day, you will dig VITM.
