This weeks featured artist is The Analog Affair. With 40 tracks and four EP's within a span of 2 years, Evan Baker and Cody Moser have produced some of most creative and most beautiful library of ambient styles of music that ties electronica, dark gothic, eletro-pop, contemporary, trance, and indie rock together. Each vocal song is charged with emotional lyrics with some smooth electro instrumentals. 90s Indie Rock Bands and Albums: The Best Band You've Never Heard? Slint. - 0 views

  •
This is an article about Slint, a relatively unknown band from Louisville, Kentucky that has survived as a cult favorite even though they only released a pair of albums and a single containing less than twenty songs over twenty years ago. The thought that such a thing could happen and that a band could exist as an icon despite such little output is the impetus behind this article.

Journal For Plague Lovers - Manic Street Preachers - Listen free and discover music at ... - 1 views

  •
Listen free to Manic Street Preachers - Journal For Plague Lovers (Jackie Collins Existential Question Time, Peeled Apples and more). 18 tracks (54:07). Manic Street Preachers are an alternative rock band from Blackwood, Wales, formed in 1986. Often referred to as "the Manics", they are James Dean Bradfield (vocals, guitars), Nicky Wire (bass, occasional vocals) and Sean Moore (drums, backing vocals, occasional trumpet). The band were originally a quartet: lyricist and rhythm guitarist Richey Edwards mysteriously vanished on 1 February 1995. He was declared presumed deceased in November 2008. The Manics released their debut album Generation Terrorists in 1992. Their combination of androgynous glam punk imagery, outspoken invective and songs about "culture, alienation, boredom and despair" soon gained them a loyal following and cult status. The band's later albums retained a politicized and intellectual lyrical style, while adopting a broader alternative rock sound.
