NETS FOR STUDENTS 1998
Released in 1998, the original ISTE NETS for Students identified skills and knowledge every student needed to succeed in the technology and information environment emerging at the time
Digital Citizenship
Students understand human, cultural, and societal issues related to technology and practice legal and ethical behavior. Students:
advocate and practice safe, legal, and responsible use of information and technology.
exhibit a positive attitude toward using technology that supports collaboration, learning, and productivity.
Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, and Decision Making
Students use critical thinking skills to plan and conduct research, manage projects, solve problems, and make informed decisions using appropriate digital tools and resources. Students:

They also carried with them a grid map of the school. When students found a cache, they took out a sticker and placed it on the map where it was located.
