Click on any yellow plane to pull up a side menu that gives you flight data (altitude, latitude, longitude, vertical speed, etc.). Click on 3D and it will bring up a cockpit view (you must have Google Earth installled to access this feature). 

Extremely popular and economical Australia-NZ wide competition that aligns with the AC. Students and schools get certificates and competition is easy for teachers to run. Please ask me if you have any questions about the Asia-Wise or the Australian History Competition. 

Location guessing game where students can play alone or against each other on multiple computers (no need to share the same machine) collecting points for speed and accuracy. Ignore the ad and click either "Sign In" or "Visit" to play as a guest. 

Step-by-step creation tool for GPS Mission. Use GPS mission to create a mission for students (can be used on phones or tablets) with instructions, clues and maps. Also useful for creating history walks with photographs of before and after shots of locations (you need to sign up to upload photographs). 

Commercial site that allows you to create maps using layers. The tutorial is essential to learning how to use the site and understanding which pricing plan may be suitable should your school choose to use this. 

Simple and very effective site with interactives that test students knowledge of simple, developing and advanced knowledge of physical and political boundaries and entities. Works brilliantly on IWBs. You may need to use photon on iPads due to flash issues with Safari. 

Useful activity for students to improve their speed, accuracy and knowledge of locations. May also be useful for motor skills development. As it is considered a 'game', you may need to alert IT in your school to get it through the filter.
