Northamptonshire Record Office (Archives) Over 800 years of Northamptonshire's history The Northamptonshire Record Office holds over 800 years of the county's rich archival heritage, which can be accessed free of charge onsite. The archives cover all aspects of life in Northamptonshire, and the people who lived here."

Genealogy: The library owns microfilm copies of the National Archives Compiled Service Records for all Union and Confederate soldiers from Missouri, those from other states who fought at Wilson's Creek, and some additional soldiers. Copies can be requested from the Hulston Library or from the National Archives. Forms to obtain copies of National Archives records are available at the Visitor Center, or National Archives records can be ordered on-line by clicking here. The library has purchased published rosters giving basic information on all Civil War soldiers, and will search for particular names on request. Regimental Histories: The library contains many histories of individual Civil War regiments, especially Union units. In addition, many Northern state adjutant general's reports and other regimental materials are available. Limited information is available on Southern units.

Researchers searching ArchiveGrid can learn about the many items in each of these collections, contact archives to arrange a visit to examine materials, and order copies.

The Archival Research Catalog (ARC) is the online catalog of NARA's nationwide holdings in the Washington, DC, area; Regional Archives; and Presidential Libraries. ARC is a work in progress; currently over 63% of our records are described in ARC at the series level. ARC contains many descriptions of records of interest to genealogists and family historians, including: * applications for enrollment in Native American tribes * court records * fugitive slave cases * land records * military personnel records * naturalization records

MO State Archives

The LSUS Archives and Special Collections contains over 600 individual collections, including numerous important historical records and manuscripts relating to the Shreveport area, northwest Louisiana, and the lower Red River region commonly known as the Ark-La-Tex. The Archives collects, preserves, and makes available to researchers the rich and colorful heritage of this region. Approximately 5,000 linear feet of records and manuscripts and over one million photographs and negatives document the history and culture of the region from its earliest settlement to the present.

The Institute for Regional Studies & University Archives is the special collections and archives department of the North Dakota State University Libraries. It acquires, preserves and makes accessible rare, valuable and unique materials in support of the research and teaching missions of North Dakota State University. It also serves the citizens of North Dakota and scholars throughout the world.

The Pennsylvania State Archives collects, preserves and makes available for study the permanently-valuable public records of the Commonwealth, with particular attention given to the records of state government. The State Archives also collects papers of private citizens and organizations relevant to Pennsylvania history.

The Archdiocese of Chicago's Joseph Cardinal Bernardin Archives & Records Center is the official repository for the records of the Archdiocese of Chicago and gateway to its past. As the institutional archives, its purpose is to identify, preserve, and make available Archdiocesan records, which have long term value for local, national and international communities

The Rocky Mountain Online Archive (RMOA) is a source of information about archival collections in Colorado, New Mexico and Wyoming. Twenty participating institutions are expanding access to their collections by participating in RMOA. Finding aids to collections located in all three states can be accessed on this site to help scholars, researchers and educators discover source materials relevant to their studies.

Thanks to a generous grant from the Winnipeg Foundation, The Dominion Institute interviewed 23 Winnipeg area veterans and digitized a selection of their wartime artifacts and memorabilia.
