Make sure that you justify how skype is part of workflow software. Also, you may want to pull out how the new skype lets you screenshare and record a movie of that and has all these productivity add ins to help workflow go.

This should be written like a wikipedia article in 3rd person so you'll want to rewrite this - also the current news section needs quite a few hyperlinks. How about all of the Google Docs and google type things that let you compute in "the cloud" -- also, things like timebridge let work flow around the world. Look at other things that help people work together like Elluminate, for example.

Not sure I understand this- but I will give you some examples here - how about SIS (student information systems) like SASSY and Powerschool that let teachers and administrators look at information from home or school and also let work flow from one person to another.

The items in Arts, Entertainment and Liesture need hyperlinks - although these are solid examples. Do you have a way to show what a storyboard looks like in this section?

Working as a group simultaneously is very important to fulfill some kind of difficult work, like administrating works such as Microsoft Sharepoint . News Flash: Social Networks Are About Connecting People: Tech News « - 1 views

  •
"This weekend saw a number of prominent technology observers questioning the value of social networks, including This Week in Tech host Leo Laporte, who penned a thoughtful post on why he's leaving Google Buzz behind. Laporte said he feels that his last four years of social networking use have been an "an immense waste of time," but I think he and others are missing the larger point. Too many people seem to be trying to use social networks for media and marketing activities instead of the core reason such networks exist: namely, to connect people."

"Google is currently the most used search engine. It has one of the largest databases of Web pages, including many other types of web documents (blog posts, wiki pages, group discussion threads and document formats (e.g., PDFs, Word or Excel documents, PowerPoints). Despite the presence of all these formats, Google's popularity ranking often places worthwhile pages near the top of search results."

"The word "cyberspace" was coined by the science fiction author William Gibson, when he sought a name to describe his vision of a global computer network, linking all people, machines and sources of information in the world, and through which one could move or "navigate" as through a virtual space."

What is cyberspace? - A Word Definition From the Webopedia Computer Dictionary - 0 views

  •
"cyberspace (1) A metaphor for describing the non-physical terrain created by computer systems. Online systems, for example, create a cyberspace within which people can communicate with one another (via e-mail), do research, or simply window shop. Like physical space, cyberspace contains objects (files, mail messages, graphics, etc.) and different modes of transportation and delivery. Unlike real space, though, exploring cyberspace does not require any physical movement other than pressing keys on a keyboard or moving a mouse. "

"Cyberspace is the electronic medium of computer networks, in which online communication takes place.[1] It is readily identified with the interconnected information technology required to achieve the wide range of system capabilities associated with the transport of communication and control products and services. Current technology integrates a number of capabilities (sensors, signals, connections, transmissions, processors, and controllers) sufficient to generate a virtual interactive experience accessible regardless of a geographic location."

Virtual circuit - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - 0 views

  • In telecommunications and computer networks, a virtual circuit (VC), synonymous with virtual connection and virtual channel, is a connection oriented communication service that is delivered by means of packet mode communication. After a connection or virtual circuit is established between two nodes or application processes, a bit stream or byte stream may be delivered between the nodes; a virtual circuit protocol allows higher level protocols to avoid dealing with the division of data into segments, packets, or frames.

Virtual Machine Interface - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - 0 views

  • Virtual Machine Interface[1] ("VMI") may refer to a communication protocol for running parallel programs on a distributed memory system. Virtual Machine Interface[2] is also the name given by VMware to the proposed open standard protocol that guest operating systems can use to communicate with the hypervisor of a virtual machine. An implementation of this standard was merged in the main Linux kernel version 2.6.21. A number of popular GNU/Linux distributions now ship with VMI support enabled by default. Since newer AMD and Intel CPUs allow for more efficient virtualization, VMI is being obsoleted and VMI support will be removed from Linux kernel in 2.6.37[3] and from VMWare products in 2010-2011 timeframe [4].
