The Unicef Tap Project has gone to Web2.0's new technologies to gain attention and followers worldwide. Celebrities participating in the project, which sends water to people in thrid-world countries, can go on social networking sites and tell people to help out. This effectively gets attention to the project.

The Keep America Beautiful campaign is adding a new website to their name. They already have one for the organization, but are now building on it with a website that is called a social volunteer hub. This helps people who want to start their own clean-up project. Through this website they reach out with social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter to gain more attention nationally.

This article talks about how website designers who try and update their pages with available material but they cannot do so with so much distractions so this talks about how this site/softare can assit them. 

This site tells of the ability of everyone to be an artist. The internet is making art universal, and possibly are equivalent to museums.  

A wiki where fans edit information about things they like. Another example of a wiki that is somewhat of an offsping of wikipedia. As Wikipedia has gotten more formal in editing requirements, those who like the free-er atmosphere from the early days of wikipedia are moving elsewhere to places like this. This wiki has no notability requirements. Anything can be added that one likes. It looks like, however, that this site has locked down editing (for now) because they didn't have enough editors. However, this is a pretty large wiki.

Globalization is a process of interaction and integration among the people, companies, and governments of different nations, a process driven by international trade and investment and aided by information technology. This process has effects on the environment, on culture, on political systems, on economic development and prosperity, and on human physical well-being in societies around the world. Globalization is not new, though. For thousands of years, people-and, later, corporations-have been buying from and selling to each other in lands at great distances, such as through the famed Silk Road across Central Asia that connected China and Europe during the Middle Ages. Likewise, for centuries, people and corporations have invested in enterprises in other countries. In fact, many of the features of the current wave of globalization are similar to those prevailing before the outbreak of the First World War in 1914.
