Workflow software can be used many ways for a government as well as politics and employment. Working as a group simultaneously is very important to fulfill some kind of difficult work, like administrating works such as Microsoft Sharepoint . Since the work that big companies do is very complicated and intertwined over and over with the part that do not really seem to be related that much, workflow software is almost mandatory to practice. Same as in politics and employment, the organization, association use this program for more efficient work capabilities (for their own profits). Many companies are using "computing in the cloud" which are free technologies like

"One of the trends that has been growing for advanced and enthusiast photographers is the use of image editing workflow software. The market is dominated by Adobe Lightroom and Apple Aperture. The first out of the gate a few years ago was Aperture, however dominating the space now is Adobe with its recent release of Adobe Lightroom 3. Both are top notch. Apple based professional photographers tend to favor Aperture as it is strictly for the Mac and integrates well with iPhoto. The rest of the world favors Adobe Lightroom. Which is better? There isn't an answer to that question, bothhave their pluses plus a few minuses. For the PC users, you need to understand the Mac mentality, its slightly different but the "just" is rocking image management and quick on the fly image corrections and the abilty to output slideshows and photobooks lickidly split. Like I said, both are excellent, low cost complimentary additions to help with a higher volume workflow. Teamed up with Photoshop or even Elements, and you have real solid toolset for the busy photographer that wants to keep their images organized."

This is about new type of communication. At Queen's University they're researching about hologram like communication which could be used as a new kind of entertainment.

Wireless technology has evolved. At first, the goal was to expedite the communications between humans. Now, however, the new wave  of wireless technology focuses on machine-to-machine(M2M) interactions. "The M2M phenomenon is part of the larger drive to create an "Internet of Things" - a global network that not only links computers, tablets and phones but that connects everything from bikes to washing machines to thermostats. Machina Research, a British firm, believes there will be 12.5 billion "smart" connected devices, excluding  phones, PCs and tablets, in the world in 2020, up from 1.3 billion today."

A NeXT Computer was used by Berners-Lee as the world's first web server and also to write the first web browser, WorldWideWeb, in 1990. By Christmas 1990, Berners-Lee had built all the tools necessary for a working Web:[7] the first web browser (which was a web editor as well); the first web server; and the first web pages,[8] which described the project itself. On August 6, 1991, he posted a short summary of the World Wide Web project on the alt.hypertext newsgroup.[9] This date also marked the debut of the Web as a publicly available service on the Internet. The first server outside Europe was set up at SLAC to host the SPIRES-HEP database. Accounts differ substantially as to the date of this event. The World Wide Web Consortium says December 1992,[10] whereas SLAC itself claims 1991.[11][12] This is supported by a W3C document entitled A Little History of the World Wide Web.[13]
