I'm Elycia, the lady behind ♥elycia. I am crazy about taking photos, dancing to oldies, my cats, my husband, dressing in silly outfits and colour. Well I'm crazy about other things too but if I keep going this list could get seriously long. I live in Hamilton, Ontario with my husband and our two cats, Anakin (orange) and Farva (black & white). 

Welcome to my blog, Hopeless Notebook. I started my blog on January 1st, 2012 when I noticed that a friend of mine had started her own blog. Her blog was so adorable and fun, and I knew I could come up with something equally as fantastic, thus Hopeless Notebook was born!      Hopeless Notebook is a lot of things : a fashion blog, a lifestyle blog, a place for pictures, DIYs, inspiration, and everything in-between. Sometimes there will be silly, happy stories, sometimes there will be sad ones, and other times there will be lots of whining, but this blog will always be 100% truthfully me. ♥♥♥      As for me, I'm a college girl trying to make her silly, outlandish dreams come true. I currently live in sunny Florida, but as soon as college is said and done, I'll be packing up with my mister and moving far, far away. We'll be moving to North Carolina where I plan on opening up my own dress boutique, and possibly doing a bit of graphic design work on the side.      My mister's name is Garrett, and we've been together since our freshman year of high school. We're crazy about each other ♥ but mostly we're just crazy.

Hi, I'm Joanna and welcome to my blog.  I hope you enjoy reading the posts contained therein as much as I enjoyed writing them.  This blog is geared towards anyone interested in writing, the process of writing, occasional musings on fashion, style and life, in general.  Especially that last bit: "life," and all the wonderful, crazy and terrifying things it has to offer.  Being a flâneur is not as "idle" or "lounge-y" as it seems!  In fact, there is no direct translation of flâneur into English.  I like to think that a flâneur is one who is actively engaged in life, even if one is sitting and watching the world go by; an active observer, if you will.  I am a writer and editor by trade and we do have a tendency to notice everything; either we want to write about it because it's intriguing, or we want to correct it :)

Hey! I'm Mandy and this is my blog (spoiler alert!). I'm wife to Scot (no typo, just the one T) and mama to Harper, the most charming toddler I've ever met.I started the Haps to document her life back when she was just a few months old in hopes that one day I'd have something to show her since the 3 baby books I own are sitting lonely with a few pages filled out (I'm either the laziest person alive or a hoarder - jury is still out on that one). Over time, people started finding us (the internet is crazy you guys!) and a few years later, here I am still sharing stories about the nugget plus all kinds of other adventures we have as a family of 3 brunettes - one a Gemini, one a Scorpio and one a Cancer. I have always been in love with fashion but I was born on a Native American reservation where it was not available. Growing up I looked through my mom's fashion magazines for inspiration, then I created outfits with what I had in my closet. When I left the "Rez" and moved to the "City" I went crazy for fashion! If I had to categorize my style, I would call it classically chic with a touch of glam/drama. In an effort to inspire my fellow full-figured women, I decided to share my style through this blog. My goal is to prove that no matter your dress size...you can "ROCK" fashion and look great! I believe the key to great style is finding inspiration, being creative and displaying confidence. Your fair lovely looking girl would love when you'll dress her up in black with those cat ears on. To add to the look you can paint the nose and eyes a little black with a bit of mustache. Just be sure about the colors and paints you use.
