Hi, I'm Joanna and welcome to my blog.  I hope you enjoy reading the posts contained therein as much as I enjoyed writing them.  This blog is geared towards anyone interested in writing, the process of writing, occasional musings on fashion, style and life, in general.  Especially that last bit: "life," and all the wonderful, crazy and terrifying things it has to offer.  Being a flâneur is not as "idle" or "lounge-y" as it seems!  In fact, there is no direct translation of flâneur into English.  I like to think that a flâneur is one who is actively engaged in life, even if one is sitting and watching the world go by; an active observer, if you will.  I am a writer and editor by trade and we do have a tendency to notice everything; either we want to write about it because it's intriguing, or we want to correct it :)

I am a 24-year-old part-time writing instructor and part-time technical writer. My love of writing led me to blogs, which led me to a wonderful group of women carving a space for themselves on the internet. The fatshion blogging community has opened my eyes to the confidence, power, and joy in embracing yourself as you are. I'm so excited to offer my voice here, whether it ends up being a soft echo or a loud roar. Hi!  My name is Shawna Bird, but everyone calls me 'Birdie".  I am the "Girl on the Go", a citizen of the world, and the author of Bonne Vie.  I live in Seattle (the Emerald City) and I have my fingers in many pies, including writing, photography, art, music, and business.  I enjoy the process of learning and growing.  I read a lot of books.  I'm always looking for ways to become more productive, to streamline, to innovate, and to shake things up.  I really enjoy writing about fashion and style, beauty, lifestyle tips and events in my area.

Bonjour! Je m'appelle Lindsey. I speak French, although not very well. I love tutus, in case you hadn't noticed from the blog title. Actually, pretty much anything with tulle will set my heart racing. I also have a deep and abiding affinity for glitter, sequins, sparkles and florals. I'm 18, and in less than 6 months I'm moving to the "big city" for university, and I could not be more excited! Sometimes I write poetry, and sometimes I read books, both of which I would like to share here on this little blog. I'll be stumbling along here for a bit, trying to figure out my voice, my interests and my own personal style...and how to take pictures of it! I'm Laura (sometimes known as Lo) and I'm 27 years old and live in Toronto Canada, a city that I love with all my heart. I always hate writing the "about me" bits on websites, but I guess it's kind of necessary. My name is Kelsi, you might have already figured that out by now. So, let's see… about me: From 1984-2002 I lived in a small town in Northern California. From 2002-2012 I lived in the beautiful, magical city of Seattle, WA, where I went to cosmetology school and worked as self-employed professional hairstylist for eight years. Now I'm heading to the midwest (Oklahoma City to be precise) to live with one of my best friends for a while and change up my life!
