A way to record lectures. You can do this at home or in class. We use this technology at UNCC, but it could prove to be useful in other classroom settings. Students would be able to log in from home to view the lecture again, or if they missed class, a way to not fall behind.

This is a really interesting site that is like traveling all over the world, but staying at home. You can use the internet to learn about destinations, remember goals, play games, write a diary and so on. It seems like a strange site for teachers, but I actually think it would be really cool to use in a history class, a social studies class, or a foreign language class. Its like traveling the world, but staying in the same room. They can learn about the countries we're studying about and write some ideas or questions about it on their blog.

This is a great website and it's free. You can store and share files, create a class calendar, assignments and grading, and involves social learning for classrooms.

This site allows for creating free online tools for the education community. It gets the students, parents, and teachers involved.

This is a great website for students and teachers who are interested in being tutored or doing tutoring. Students will find a lot of subject related help on this page while teachers may use it to learn more on their topic.

This website is a Teachers resource website from Scholastic. It provides teachers with lesson plans, activities, teaching strategies, book lists, etc. They are organized by grade levels.

Really neat website full of lessons and activity sheets to be used for your lessons, or in conjunction with your lessons.
