Engrade is a great way for teachers to constantly stay in touch with students, parents, and administrators.

This is a really great way for teachers (particularly within CMS) to stay connected with one another. It keeps them up to date on thier curriculum and new ways to teach it. I think if each school district had something like this, the educations system in our country would be excellent.

This article was posted earlier today on MSNBC's website. The author completely disagrees with teachers being involved with students on facebook at all. He states that Facebook is "a minefield for school districts".

I love Skype! It is the best invention in telecommunication ever! I keep in touch with my family in Brazil for free! In the classroom, you can have students exchange information with one another and telecommunicate with people around the world!

This is a site that shows how google can help and be used in the classroom. There is a link to google apps for educators. UNCC actually uses this now and it is really useful. There are many useful links within this one.

This website emphasizes the importance of teaching writing. Without this skill it will be difficult for students to succeed in all other academic areas. There are helpful pointers on how to teach writing and a current listing different workshops teachers can attend.

This is a site that shows a software you can have at your school. It engages the 21st century learners. You do have to call them to get it for your school, but it looks like a great source.

This is more of a place to organize your already created lesson plans that way your school computer doesn't get so crowded or so your desk isn't a mess. They do have a link that will help you create lesson plans. Also on this website they have links to puzzles or activities for classroom ideas.
