National Council for the Social Studies is an advocacy group devoted solely to Social Studies Education. They offer support, conferences, and publications about current affairs in the Study of Social Studies Education.
This is a website that teachers can use to creat a page that there students can log on to see what is going on in the classrooms and the parents can find out what there kids are doing in there class.
I posted this website because I think that it is a good example of how technology enhances communication between all levels of education (administration, teachers, parents and students). Most school systems have websites similiar to this.
