Are all A5 processors the same as another? Not so, says AnandTech, which looked into the iPhone 4S' processor compared to others, including the A5 chip in the iPad 2. The site compiled known benchmarks and "compared them to our existing database of tests." Bottom line? The iPhone 4S is underclocked to roughly 800 MHz, making it slower than Apple's current tablet, but still plenty fast, says the site.

I was pretty shocked by the move when it happened, which made me start to take a look at my own personal connection to mobile technology. If the idea of turning my phone off to spend time with a friend is crazy talk, then maybe the crazy thing is how connected I am. The whole idea of being that connected is, after all, to be able to easily reach and connect with people (like this friend). What better time to do that when the friend is physically in front of me, trying to have a real-world conversation.

This website is THE best website in the history of all mankind. Billions of years from now after the 16th nuclear war wipes out humanity again, our descendants will look to and praise this website as they believe it is the most wise being in the world. When I assigned this link the task of redirecting users to my site, it refused because it is just way too epic. Its link people actually believe that this website serves somekind of divine purpose and that we regular people have no right to meddle with these matter, that all changed however with a handsome enough sum of money.

these glasses may be big and attached to a pack which must be carried with you, but it is pretty cool. these glasses may not look like much, but when you where them and turn them on, it displays a projection screen about 1 meter away from your eyes. like what you always see in spy movies or something. the little packs can attach to your belt, and displays it like a screen, it is meant for workers so that they can view the manual when working on something without climbing down to get it. NEC will start shipping these out on Dec 26(the day after Christmas) and I think that it will prove to be very useful in every day situations. it is priced at 400,000 yen or $5,200, but the software is at 1.9 million yen or $25,000

Adobe has made a new set of CSS tools, like CSS shaders, or CSS regions. this is so that CSS can now have better quality with what they are doing, apparently, it can make things on the screen be 3D, which is so awesome, it adds a cinematic feel to it. although we are not going to go anywhere near this in class, it is still cool, there's a video that shows what it looks like. Twitter is testing out new design changes which makes the main Twitter timeline expandable so that you can see media and related information right in the timeline instead of off to the side or clicking off to another page. They have started the testing on a few clients and if it is successful, they plan to make it permanent. I think this is a bad idea because it will just add complications. Besides, if I wanted to see the news, i would just go on another page.

You can now open a tweet and see how many people retweeted it, see the threaded conversation related to the tweet or related photos or vidoes. When looking at a picture, you wont have to open another page just to see it, it will come up on the same page and you will be able to exit it.
