IBM announced Thursday that it has received $21 million in funding from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency to develop a series of experimental computer chips designed to replicate the human brain's perceptive, active and cognitive abilities.

This is a new device that just attaches to dog collars. It will track the pet down no matter where it goes. it just attaches to the collar, so that you will never lose your dog. you just have to charge the battery before going on a walk because the battery only lasts a week, but if you do not charge it regulary then that number will obviously decrease. this device comes with an app so that you can use your phone too.this device will help new pet owners find their pets in case something goes wrong. Maybe I should get one for my brother, he doesn't take directions like "stay here," or "follow me," very well.

Windows Mobile may be ancient technology for those using an iPhone or Android handset, but for industry applications like the MobiUS SP1 mobile ultrasound system, the now two-year old operating system is just perfect.

I was pretty shocked by the move when it happened, which made me start to take a look at my own personal connection to mobile technology. If the idea of turning my phone off to spend time with a friend is crazy talk, then maybe the crazy thing is how connected I am. The whole idea of being that connected is, after all, to be able to easily reach and connect with people (like this friend). Well it would seem that NTT DoCoMo, one of the largest wireless carriers in Japan, has let slip the Samsung Galaxy Nexus announcement just a couple hours early. According to a tweet, "the latest Android OS smartphone with Google and Samsung Electronics [will be] announced on October 19 in Hong Kong tomorrow. DoCoMo is almost equivalent to the fastest in the world, scheduled for release in November. More later." (Anyone who's fluent in Japanese, please feel free to add clarity that Google Translate can't.)

An US air force recruitment commercial that promises that everything you see is real; but right away you notice that the first 30 seconds of the commercial is from a Micheal bay movie. The part that amazed me the most was that the c-17s fly's to a collapsing bridge to safe some stranded people on it, when it gets to the bridge the engines (which are 500,000 pounds each) turn vertical and make the plane stationary for enough time to rescue the stranded; then the plane transforms into another aircraft and fly's away. How can you call something like this real, unless the U.S. army is flying an auto-bot c-17s.

And the Netflix hits just keep on coming. The company's stock price was $300 over the summer and now it has dropped to $85. The company's plummeting stock price is likely to increase call for CEO Reed Hasting dismisal. the founder is not worried, he thinks it is just temporary.

As seen in the popular show "The Big Bang Theory" when Sheldon attempts to preserve himself long enough so that he could move his entire consciousness to a machine in the future. Ideas arise about if this could be possible and if so, how? These questions can not be answered for sure at this point in time but it definitely seems like a possibility with the ever growth of new technology. I can't think of a reason of why this wouldn't be possible.

Adobe has now launched an Adobe reader which supports ios, which means that ipads, iphones and ipods are now able to pdf files. which is pretty cool. you can use the web email. it also comes wit more features like, finding texts in documents bookmarking, zooming and wirelessly printing

Nokia has come out with their very own Stereo Headphones. They almost look like "Beats by Dr.Dre" but they do have their own look. In my opinion the headphones look really cool.

well they just keep coming out with surprises don't they, Nokia just came out with a prototype of another smartphone, it is like any other smartphone, except that this one is flexible, how are they supposed to make a phone out of rubber or plastic or something. this may make it harder to break, but i wouldn't care about that, if I could I would just buy it to freak people out.
