Oxfam works to empower young people to be active Global Citizens. They promote education that helps young people understand the global issues that affect their lives and take action towards a more just and sustainable world. Their teams in England, Scotland and Wales support teachers through our range of on-line resources, teacher training and professional development, and partnership work with a range of other organizations.

K-12 teachers, librarians, administrators, and professional development staff, as well as university faculty, students, and researchers gather here to learn, collaborate, share, and support one another.

I have a cousin who contributes to this group and I often recommend articles to other teachers from the site. I find that it can help teachers who have gotten stuck in a rut to break out of it. Most of the perspective are a bit liberal for Salem, OR but they still help colleagues look at issues in a new way.
