The health care field generates an enormous amount of data every day. There is a need, and opportunity, to mine this data and provide it to the medical researchers and practitioners who can put it to work in real life, to benefit real people.

Denmark, Finland, The Netherlands, Sweden and the UK are the top five countries offering the best market conditions for mobile health app companies in Europe, according to a survey conducted by research2guidance in collaboration with HIMSS Europe.

"Do you have any regional focuses? In which countries do you have the most app downloads? We have a strong user base in Europe, especially Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, France and Spain."

The top five markets for mobile health app companies in Europe include Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Sweden and the United Kingdom, according to a survey of 5,000 app developers, healthcare professionals, and digital health practitioners. The survey, which was conducted by Research2Guidance in collaboration with HIMSS Europe, found that 55 percent of respondents ranked the UK as the top market.

According to an international survey conducted by German research institute GfK, the most wanted feature in a smartwatch is activity tracking.
