This website goes over ethos, pathos, and logos. It helps me understand the readings better because it gives several examples of each concept. Ethos is ethical appeal that the author uses. Pathos is when the author trying to appeal to the readers emotions. Logos is the logic portion of writing that will begin to make sense to the reader.

Within the video are several examples of positive space and negative space in designs, detailing how both work hand in hand in creating a dynamic aesthetic.

I bookmarked this site because it gives all the elements of design. It gives definitions and links to examples and resources. I also made this one my favorite because it explains all the elements and not just what we discussed this week as well as it a very easy site to use.

This is a website with examples of what people with normal vision see versus people with colorblindness. I thought it was interesting based on our color readings since there was no mention of it there.

This is a cool little article that talks about texture in design and how it is used. I thought it was helpful to continue to build knowledge on how to use texture since too much is not a good thing.

I liked this site because it went into some detail about texture and gave some realistic familiar examples like Apple icons.

This website displays 50 great examples of websites that use abstract designs on their pages. These pages are great inspiration for any designer interested in utilizing abstract designs. Abstract designs are unique and memorable making them perfect for web pages.

This website shows 18 different examples of websites that effectively use emphasis to make the color green pop out. This is done for stylistic and symbolic reasons for each of these various websites. I especially liked this because green happens to be my favorite color.

I wanted to find another site with a more in depth explanation and found one with totally new elements that can be used to improve layout and design. Most of these examples I have never heard of besides focal point and grid design, but you can never know too many new ways in order to improve your delivery, right?

This website gives a quick overview of value, while also giving some great examples. It helped me further understand why value is important in the world of design.

This quick video gives a very good explanation of how additive and subtractive color systems work. It provides a great example of both of them in action.

This You Tube video goes over the concept of unity. It goes over the different components that are involved in creating unity. It helped my learn more about unity because there are examples of unity and the person is talking about the different images.
