how social networking sites are good for business due simply to the fact that it is free advertising for them. with the rising popularity of these sites we find more businesses like giant eagle creating pages and posting advertisements on them as well. Its a cheap way to reach hundreds of people.

the popularity of facebook since it has taken flight in the past five years it has sky rocketed to the number one spot. The monthly visits between social networks are huge but it is still surprising that myspace (once holding the number one spot) still more popular then twitter which is a decent new found technology for reporting someones status.

This page debunks the Zeitgeist film, linked below. Winston is not alone in discrediting the Zeitgeist movement - some internet message boards are devoted entirely to debunking conspiracy theories. These are great examples of the internet's ability to correct mistakes over time, eg: Zeitgeist convinced millions of viewers to believe untrue facts and theories - websites like ConspiracyScience.com convinced millions of others that Zeitgeist is unreliable.

This is an online fashion magazine that uses many different types of multimedia to display its content.

Zeitgeist is a documentary film produced by Peter Joseph, released in 2007. It outlines the many ways in which information has been repressed by governments and religions over centuries to maintain control over the public. The film went viral shortly after its release, thanks to the internet. Unfortunately for Peter Joseph, countless debunking websites and smear campaigns have been launched to discredit the documentary. This scenario is a great example of how social movements can be created and driven by the internet, only to be killed later by the internet.
