I think this is an interesting and funny website. Although it is viewed by some as offensive or stereotypical, it still creates a huge amount of traffic (300,000 hits daily). The creator of the website (Christian Lander), uses this site as a social mirror for things he witnesses throughout everyday life.

Digital photo frame company, Media Street, has created another digital photo frame with Wifi.This isn't the first of its kind, however, with this model you can view photos on flickr, photobucket, walmart. You can also use it to view facebook, twitter--you can even check the weather !

If you are interested in science information in an interactive way this is a really great Web site. It has podcasts, images, television channels, video podcasts, etc. This Web site shows a way information is being conveyed via the web in different interactive mediums.

Nick Gonzalez has put together a new tool called CheckFacebook it was invented to help users do exactly that, people mostly advertisers can check the growth of facebook and where its popularity is rising and determine where to market there newest ideas. It is a really interesting idea and shows how technology and social networks are converging together to make a powerful marketable concept.

This discusses the fact that the "first sale" doctrine that applies to physical books, CDs, and DVDs does not apply to the e-books that people "buy" on the Kindle. Basically, it states that you cannot really allow someone to borrow your "books" on the Kindle and if you wanted to sell your "book" you would have to sell the "physical media where the 'original' download is stored."

This article talks about the sales of the Kindle and the decline in traffic at the BookExpo America compared to previous years. It discusses the fact that publishing executives have worries concerning the development of this technology and at the same time mentions that the device has also gained fans in the publishing industry.

I thought it would interesting to add the best book-to-movie adaptation list. Many people may have seen these movies and not even realized that a book existed.

This is just an interesting article talking about how some good books can end up being disasters as movies. I don't agree with everything on the list because it is just opinion. It's also sad to see a good book turned into a bad movie because people's opinion of the book will be wrong.
