This opinion site relates well to my topic; what constitutes music sampling. Musicians are trying to get money from other musicians for copyright infringement... but sometimes it is only two notes that they say were copied. How does court rule out the real copyright infringement cases from the cases that are just musicians trying to make a few extra bucks.
This "Copyright Information Services" site, gives a basic explanation of music sampling laws. It also gives the rates which musicians will have to pay to legally be able to sample another musicians music.
I am actually thinking of focusing my project on music sampling and how artists get permission to sample various songs. This website is cool because it gives you a list of different songs that have been sampled in the past. Some songs I had no idea were samples, I thought they were original songs.
This site compares two popular social media sites, del.icio.us and StumbleUpon and tells you the advantages of both sites. From personal experience, StumbleUpon is very addicting and can be detrimental to your life... but totally awesome! As for del.icio.us, I had never heard of it so I found it very interesting.
