Brandon Sanders on 05 Nov 09I chose to bookmark this site because of recent class discussions about fast food and its negative effects on the United States. This article does a great job illustrating just how fat America is. It includes a picture that shows how much obesity has increased in the United States over the years. It also has a table that shows the percentage of people in each state that are obese. Last year 26.3% of people in Indiana alone were obese. This is insane to think about! More than a quarter of the people in this state have problems with their weight. I wonder if this is a direct result of all the fast food restaurants we have here in America.
