Digital newspaper archive hits 5M pages online - CBS News - 2 views

    This news article by CBS news addresses the success of a digital newspaper archive that is used online by students, researchers, congressional staff and others. The Chronicling America project, the paper described previously, has posted 5 million pages from more than 800 newspapers in 25 states. The project was launched in 2007 by the Library of Congress and National Endowment for the Humanities with 32 state partners.
