    An estimated forty-five to fifty percent of food is discarded each year by Americans.That makes it an economic problem for everyone. In a country known as the "throw away" society we are destroying the planet with methane, mountains of food waste that could of been eaten, and wasting money that could of been saved.

    Arizona is a good state to be considered a sustainable state. Becuase of the sun and how it provides power with solar engery. Arizona is in the best position and hits the brightest spot of the sun, that's why it's so bright here. Thus leading to a lot of solar pannels being put up.

    McDonalds is opening up a vegetarian McDonalds due to the fact that these people in India can not eat meat because of their religion.  This is the first of it's kind in the franchise. The store will serve the vegetarian items currently sold in indian restaurants and the chain will likely develop some new items as well.

    McDonald's is opening their first ever vegetarian restaurant in India this year. Because of religious reasons, none of the McDonald's serve beef in India. They are adding a new spin to this idea and are offering completely meat free restaurants. In the next 2 years they are hoping to have more than 200 in India.
