Very interesting topic. I am religious and find this to be ridiculous. I understand the judge may find it to infringe on a person's religious beliefs, but come on, seriously?! I think a parent should be able to name their kid whatever they want.

A couple should be allowed to name their child whatever they want, the court should have no say in it. A name is not breaking any laws.

Psychologically it is said that we have many social scripts, in other words we do not act the same exact way around our parents as we do our boss or our friends. Companies that use social media are attempting to view how you live your life outside of work, how you act out that social script. But why should that matter? Regardless if you put pictures of Saturday night drinking it does not mean that this who you are in the office, they are two completely different script and for the general population they are unrelated.

I think employers should look at social media networks, people should always present themselves in a professional look, because there behaviors affect the company, on the clock or off

Since I'm not the most social person by nature, I'm not very active with social media. I don't have a Facebook, or Twitter, or whatever. So, if anyone tries to Google me, there's not much that comes up. Hmm, I wonder if that could backfire if a potential employer can't find any information on me by using social media.

I don't believe that employers should be concerned of a potential or current employees social media sites.

I try very hard to recycle as much as possible. This article reminded me to use my reusable water bottles instead of buying case after case of bottled water and also inspired me to buy the reusable grocery bags that I see so many people using. It makes me sick to read that there is a plastic garbage patch in the Pacific Ocean that is twice the surface area of the U.S. and hundreds of feet deep. We need to take care of the earth.

Personal freedoms taken away in other states. Sometimes a nuesence, sometimes a really good idea. The boundaries are different no matter where you go.

Although it is believed that you must be 21 to drink alcohol in the United States, this is not the case. You must be 21 to purchase or be in possession but drinking is a different issue. States can choose whether or not it is allowable for persons under the age of 21 to drink, like in Texas if your parent consents to you drinking and its on your property it is not against the law.

Some believe equal healthcare is not really going to be equal. The author uses a car repair shop as an analogy. Depending on how much and what type of repair needs then we as americans decided what to repair and how much we will be able to pay. He claims that healthcare is about your social standing in life instead of what is causing your illness.
