While many are protesting Twitter's new censorship attempt, they are not seeing that it will actually help preserve freedom of speech in the US rather than censor it. The only countries that would be held to the certain censorships are ones that request it per religious, historical, or cultural reasons. So, freedom of speech on Twitter will be opened up in the US rather than restricted by the international growth.

Government intrusion may be the reason for a drop in economic freedoms in the U.S. The more debt that is accumulated the more the average citizens will owe in the future. Over the years after Obama took office our rank has dropped in regards to economic freedom compared to other countries.

This article trys to provide some explinations as to why people commit suicide. By far the most known and expected reason a person want to end his or hers life is because they are depressed. There are many reason for depression streaming from losing someone they love dearly or sometimes depression just happens. Another reason it that they're psychotic. This means that a person hears voices in their head that is commanding that they so things, like commit suicide. Another reason is that they are impulsive, often because they are on drugs and they genuinly feel ashamed. A fourth reason is that they are crying out for help and don't know how else to get it. this can some times steam from depression. Another reason is they have a philosophical desire to die. This can be associated generaly to having a terminal illness that there is no hope of overcoming. And a last reason for wanting to commit suicide is that a person has made a mistake and they feel that there is no redeeming or making up for it.

A group plans to burn Korans on 9/11 to show the dangers of Islam. This shows a lack of religous freedom in this country, as well as ignorance towards world religions. It's appalling to see this. If you don't want to practice Islam don't, but leave those who do alone.

This topic just caught my attention because it sounds silly to me that there's actually a law against vibrators. Vibrators are not only meant for sexual reasons, but also for medical reasons, as stated in the article. A good argument was made on how it is ironic that guns are legal, yet a vibrator isn't legal in the state of Alabama;. Also, it raises a good question on what people are charged with if they possess a vibrator while passing through the state.

Arizona Law - Illegal immigration is still in controversy on how Law Enforcement will conduct proper immigration stauts checks. Having the proper procedures in place can elimanate other legal matters concerning racing profiling.

Arizona immigration laws have consistently supported racial profiling and make it difficult for legal Latinos to avoid being harassed, interrogated and detained unlawfully. State laws should be fair and adhere with constitutional freedoms afforded all citizens. If you're an American citizen, you're afforded the same rights as other citizens and should not be detained unlawfully because you "look like an immigrant". This is where Arizona crosses the line with it's immigration laws.

I understand how these immigration laws here in Arizona can make people feel, however i feel like if i have nothing to hide whats the problem. I still don't like the fact that it makes it so easy for police to racial profile because its almost insulting to get pulled over for no reason except skin color. I have seen cops pull people over just for skin color, especially in the northern part of Arizona and its wrong.

Is it important to us that our government looks at our Metadata? The government work's hard to Prove that our privacy is safe however they take liberties when it comes to private Phone Communications. The information they gather is much larger then we think.

If they "need" to look at our metadata it makes me wonder what they're doing with all our information.

In this day and age this is to be expected, the government is all about control, and when it comes to phone calls or even the internet they will do their best to control these places. Not siding with the government Im just stating their poor reasonings for doing this.

Federal court struck down the Texas voter ID law requiring photos for voters at the polla. Their reasoning is that it is racially discriminatory. The Obama Administration originally challenged it.

These voting laws that some states are trying to pass are pretty scary. This is definitely a good topic to explore.

Gay marriage should respected, no matter if people don't like the fact of gay marriage. People believe that gay marriage is harmful, but there is no prove. I am all for gay marriage. I think if a couple is happy with one another then let them be happy. There are many benefits to being married and I think they should be allowed to get married.
