President Obama on Friday repealed the Mexico City policy, a controversial Reagan-era measure that withheld funding to foreign aid organizations that perform abortions or refer women to abortion providers, which had been rescinded by President Clinton and re-instituted by President Bush.

President Obama signed legislation into law on Tuesday evening reinstating key counterterrorism laws and reforming the government's surveillance powers. The announcement from the White House that Obama had signed the USA Freedom Act came a few hours after the bill sailed through the Senate 67-32, following a protracted debate that lasted for weeks and forced some of the provisions to expire for nearly two days.

I have to applaud governor brewer on how she is handling the president. I think we need people to fight against his policies that really do not make any sense in his everybody has to get along campaign.
