It is absolutely horrible to hear about the fact that we are dealing with a hunger problem and yet there is tons of food wasted each year.

I think companies should do a better job of labeling expiration dates. Some products say 'use by...' but instead I think it would be a better idea to label food as do not use past this date. It would help diminish food waste nationally.

Due to Obama's executive actions, 4 million immigrants can now be here without having to worry as much. Hensley has said that a large majority of workers come from mexico or they are latinos. Many people are outraged that obama reformed anti immigration laws allowing immigrants without papers stay. This opens the door for millions of immigrants job opportunities.

The new voting law requiring the presentation of a state issued ID before casting a vote is creating quite a controversy. The Democrats are relating this law to Jim Crow. If planned parenthood were to be defunded, it is predicted that the government would end up spending more in the long run on public assistance. Planned parenthood provides many services for women, one of them being birth control. Statistics in this article show that women who used birth control were easily able to finish school, find jobs, and create a steady life before having children. Defunding this organization would cost America more money in the bigger scheme of things.
