I feel as though you should have to provide proof of citizenship when you show up to vote. Voting is a priveledge of American citizens and if your not a citizen you should not have the right to choose it leaders. Everyday you have people stealing social security numbers in order to get jobs so who is to say they are not voting as well?

Many people are outraged that obama reformed anti immigration laws allowing immigrants without papers stay. This opens the door for millions of immigrants job opportunities.

The whole purpose of this website is to inform people of each requirement that is needed for a young person to receive the benefits of the DREAM act. Some of these requirements include being in the United States for at least 5 years without leaving. This bill does not guarantee them citizenship right away but what it does is it lets them stay in the United States if they agree to either join the U.S military or attend college. Mostly all illegal immigrant students want to do both so it benefits them in many ways, since it is already in their minds.

thats pretty cool. I mean the way they are setting up "pathways" for these people to eventually be granted their citizenship or at lease temporary work authorizations in order to also help boost our economies currency.

I don't agree with the "second hand that follows" with this law of racial profiling. But then again profiling is part of law enforcements job. There is nothing wrong for a police officier just asking for a citizenship card, green card, visa, or regular identification, if suspected. But if it goes further then i think that it is wrong.

This article was very interesting! I'm glad that these young adults have people that are advocating for them because I don't think that it is right for them to be forced into the same deportation units as other illegals, just because they didn't have a choice in the matter.

Governor Jerry Brown passed the bill that students under the Dream Act were allowed government aid from scholarships and loans. They will only be accepted for the loans if they prove their residency in the states and plan on getting citizenship after their education is done.

I defiantly disagree with both of these laws. I don't think it is right that a cop can pull someone over just to make sure they are legal. I also think in order to be allowed to handle a gun people should go through safety classes.

I think there should be a little more added to both these laws. If you want to search someone regardless of race, gender, religion or whatever you should need probable cause. Also I think if you are going to handle any type of weapon you should have some background with weapons handling; maybe off free weapons safety classes at public ranges?
