At least 700 people were arrested protesting against corporate greed, and social inequalities in New York. Protestors were arrested for disrupting traffic on the Brooklyn Bridge. Protesters were asked by police to stay off the roadway and on the sidewalk, some did and the ones that didn't were arrested.

On April 23, 2010 Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer signed Senate Bill 1070 into law. The controversial bill gives Arizona law enforcement the authority to stop people whom officers have "reasonable suspicion" of being in the country illegally, detain these individuals while verifying immigration status, and arrest undocumented immigrants for transfer to ICE custody. Depending on who you ask, the controversial bill is either anti-immigrant, unconstitutional or a blessing.

I defiantly disagree with both of these laws. I don't think it is right that a cop can pull someone over just to make sure they are legal. I also think in order to be allowed to handle a gun people should go through safety classes.

I think there should be a little more added to both these laws. If you want to search someone regardless of race, gender, religion or whatever you should need probable cause. Also I think if you are going to handle any type of weapon you should have some background with weapons handling; maybe off free weapons safety classes at public ranges?
