This is the best website! I use it in my classroom and assign it for homework. Teachers can register for free, and can save lists. The student can search by the teacher or school name, and find their words. I LOVE this site!

Where do I begin? The Library of Congress website has so many FREE resources for students and teachers. Very easy to search for what you are looking for. It is a government site so everything is up-to-date and accurate
Learned about this on a field trip! Has TONS of free resources, lesson plans, and videos for teachers to use. Has a website dedicated for students to look at as well. Can be slightly difficult to search through at first, but has gotten much easier!

Tools include timers, noise monitors, point trackers, random name generators, charts, and more. Online Stopwatch includes analog and digital timers as well as an egg timer, stopwatch (count up or down), talking clock, metronome, chess clock, an interval timer, and split lap timer.
You can play as a guest or you can sign your students up for an account! There are math competitions as well as prizes for individual success. With a free teacher account, you can set levels, goals, and create competitions for your students.

This is another website that is part accessible for free, but there is a pay option to take advantage of the rest ($ per year). Scholastic offers lesson plans, worksheets, mini books, a whole section of "computer lab favorites" with learning activities students can do on the computer in 30 minutes or less, videos, a class homepage builder, and more. Building a whole unit (any subject) is made easy with the resources available on this site. There is even a special section for new teachers!
Lit2Go is a free online collection of stories and poems in Mp3 (audiobook) format. An abstract, citation, playing time, and word count are given for each of the passages. Many of the passages also have a related reading strategy identified.
