Short video (5 minutes) with study tips. Not necessarily new but I got some ideas about activities that have students "teach" the material. Level 5 & Level 6 students might be able to watch and understand. Would be a good session intro video / ideas to work into (I know, we tell these to our students 100 times and they don't listen...maybe if they see a video on it from someone else & then is teacher reinforced, it might stick better?)

Self study website for advanced grammar -- Level 5 or 6. Comes highly recommended by Laura!

adaptable survey of good language learner characteristics. Could be used in intermediate to advanced classes. Nice way to draw attention to good study habits.

good at home study site, especially for lower levels (even pre-1!). Has vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, etc. with a strong focus on beginning survival vocabulary.

Looks like a good self study site for ESL students. A little on the advanced side; probably wouldn't work for levels lower than 4.

Written for K-12, most points are even more salient for adult learners, especially regarding tying content into real life applications. How many of our students ask "why am I learning to write a persuasive essay? I'm studying computer engineering".

This was very helpful! As a native speaker, I had to go back to basics to think about 'phrasal verbs' transitive and intransitive, multi-word verbs, etc. all the different terms... I think this could be used for various levels. Good explainer.

Really interesting website for teachers and students. From their "About" section: "This site aims to provide students and teachers with information and ideas to assist them apply the Habits of Mind.
