This is great! It has reading, writing, conversation starts and grammar exercises. For example, there are dialogues with questions, jokes and riddles for reading, and learning about topic sentences for writing. All of these come with follow up worksheets that you can often turn into nice pdfs. All sorts of categories are available for you to choose from.

Op-Docs Video Channel - NYTimes.com - 0 views

  •
Op-docs is a series of video interviews (some animated, some filmed, whatever) that are, obviously, opinion pieces. They're not terrible long (from about 5 minutes to 15 minutes) and cover a wide variety of topics. They would probably be a good resource for Level 5 and 6 teachers. The speaking, while mostly native speakers, was not incredibly fast. They also could be used as resources for combining ideas from multiple resources.

FrazeIt in English - Write Good Sentences - 1 views

  •
A very, very cool site -- suggested by Mike, thank you! -- that allows students to look up a vocabulary word and get various perspectives -- definitions, example sentences, and best of all -- pictures, even for abstract words (I used "attitude" as my test word). Great resource for higher level students.
