Spin-off from the Facebook group with the same name which some teachers created last year. Most of us are teachers at Escuelas Oficiales de Idiomas, and we like to share ideas, links and debate in Facebook, but we thought that all these posts would be better organized if we had a group so they wouldn't be lost among other entries in our personal Facebook wall. When the group started to grow (there are 92 of us already), we realized that we were missing some kind of categorization, so we thought a blog would do the trick. And here we are. We choose the ideas that are more popular among the posts in our group in Facebook and write a post here.

"George Siemens posts frequently and with clarity on his blog elearnspace, and often I find myself nodding my head as I read or questioning my assumptions or bouncing around to other web sites as I hunt down reinforcing or contradicting information. Today I challenged a couple claims made in his posting, Explaining leads to information, which examines the past, present, and future roles of universities."

This is my website builder of choice. This easy to use, drag and drop tool allows you to build beautiful flash websites in a matter of minutes. You can embed these pages into other sites and blogs. There are lots of good widgets including email forms and comment boxes. You can also build mobile sites. Build them by choosing a template and background and add the info, links and images you want. 4.

When you share, people are more willing to share with you. In a networked world, this gives you access to more than you could ever produce or buy by yourself. By sharing, you increase your own capacity, which increases your marketability.

"Online publishing, on the other hand enables you to control the length and content of your book. You have the final say, its yours. You can distribute it as you please. You won't make any money out of it, but you are making your contribution so that is enough for your own satisfaction, right? Your ideas and arguments are there for all to see."

"Create links & auto generate QR codes on paper strips to glue in books to show pupils when their work or a display has been shown on social media or on your blog. Great for parent's consultations and evidencing for others. But more of all, the pupils love it! Adaptable so you can add your own social media icons."

Official Google Blog: Went Walkabout. Brought back Google Wave. - 0 views

The protocol is designed for open federation, such that anyone's Wave services can interoperate with each other and with the Google Wave service. To encourage adoption of the protocol, we intend to open source the code behind Google Wave.
-
For me this will be the key to Wave's success or failure. If other providers do start up it will avoid vendor lock-in and potentially lead to much higher adoption. Companies (and individuals) which wouldn't consider outsourcing their communication to Google for all sorts of reasons would be much more likely to get on board if they can have the same functionality and global interoperability while still retaining control of their data.
