I love this. It has appropriate video for teachers and schools to use for students at different levels. The free info is limited, but the subscription seems affordable. Students would love learning more like this and could have multiple viewings for reinforcement.

Conjuguemos - 2 views

This is a great tool for students learning a foreign language. I personally used it for 2 years in my Spanish class in high school and it helped me a lot! It's a great way for students to practice their conjugations. There is a suggested fee of $35; however, if your school truly cannot pay, you can send them a note saying so and can use the site. There is also a contact us page available for support. Graded activities and games available in Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Latin. This would probably be most effective if used with middle school to high school students in a foreign language class. It is very user friendly and the quality of the content is great. I think this site would be very appealing to students because it is simple and easy to use. I believe that it is an effective way to skill and drill while still being interesting.

Voxy - 1 views

I came across this website not too long ago and was surprised by the type of approach it uses to help ESL students learn English. Voxy uses current articles from world news, pop culture, as well as sports to help students learn. This would be a great tool that can be used in an ESL classroom. As the student reads an article, s(he) can click on highlighted words in the text and hear the words pronounced. By clicking the highlighted words, they also become automatically generated into a vocabulary list that the students could learn. The lists could very well be used for quizzes and games. The website is available in both English and Spanish. It is free and very easy to use. Check it out.

Rubistar - 6 views

This free website allows teachers to create custom rubrics. It is a great tool to use if you have trouble creating rubrics and setting different criteria. You can create a rubric based on a template with the following subjects: oral projects, multimedia, math, writing, products, reading, art, work skills, science, music, and reading. You can also save your rubrics online, and export them to a word processor. This site is mostly for teachers to create a rubric. Its usability is acceptable, although the navigation takes some time to get used to. This website does not seem to be undated frequently and that copyright date says 2007-2008. Overall, this website is extremely helpful to teachers when it comes to making a rubric, and differentiating criteria. There is a tutorial available on how to use rubistar, and a contact us page for support.

I LOVE this website. You can make rubrics in Spanish, too!
