A blogging tool . . .mini-Twitter? Claims to be safe and school based. Good place to vent, I guess - not very formalized writing . .

This site allows you to upload photos and video clips in an iMovie type of feel. You can watch others' movies . . some may be inappropriate.

This could be fun with irony. Students could spoof a novel or historical event. You can build your own character with a body, arms, legs, etc. Don't see anything harmful in the posting. Obviously, you are limited by the designer's characterizations.

Make your mouth move and record text. Students can upload their photo (or any) and recite a speech . . .be like a character in a novel . . Downside - When going back to view a blabber, some of the other blabbers may not be appropriate, like Big Bird giving the finger.

What a fun site! This could be a fun activity with literature and characterization. It's therapeutic!
