This isn't just a decision for hosting of my own blog, that's done and dusted now. The problem is that I am not sure where to point others who are looking for a blogging solution. In particular, I've been charged with providing blogging training after Easter for staff at my own school and will need to have something for these practical sessions

We're a bunch of like-minded, mainly UK-based, educators interested in educational technology. We produce a regular podcast with the aim of spreading good practice and innovative tools in education over at http://www.edtechroundup.com Hub.edtechroundup.com is a collection of blog posts from our own personal blogs that deal with here and now classroom practice from a variety of subject angles. Pedagogically-sound Open Source and Web 2.0 solutions figure quite high on our list of priorities. As always please feel free to get involved in our Diigo network and interact with us via Twitter!

Participants are asked to respond to Part 5 of the study, available here. It is based on a scenario for the before, during and after of an unspecified education event (see the bottom of this blog post). February update: - The collated responses from Question 4 of the Part 4 survey are available to study here - there are presently 117 participants in the study - 77 participants have indicated preferences for a research interview at some stage during this 3-year study. This will be the first of what we hope will become a regular feature in the MirandaNet calendar. It is likely that MirandMod will usually (but not always) be a fringe event following or attached to a formal MirandaNet seminar/workshop or meeting. It is hoped to establish an International dimension to this event Historically; Mod comes from the Gaelic word for a gathering, assembly or parliament.*
