Excellent videos on common math topics - Jennifer Frisk

Thanks for sharing this!! I work in Higher Ed. So I always thought the Khan Academy was for very young kids. It does appear that is still who it is geared towards, but looking around I can see some beneficial information for all ages. Great resource!!

Khan Academy is one of the most popular tutorial websites on the internet. This website covers every subject you can think of with step by step tutorial videos along with the option to practice the concepts as well. The students receive feedback from the practice and the tutorials provide detailed instructions for each lesson.

When I've thought of the Khan Academy website, I used to think of the great deal of content there that is focused on Math and Science, with smaller sections for History and Economics. There is a much smaller but very useful section of the website focused on Grammar.

I have loved using these Khan Academy videos in my Geometry classes. They have really helped give my students more examples of how to do proofs.

Khan Academy is looking for people who are great at explaining difficult concepts to help students succeed and learn. Prizes will be awarded to the top ten finalists with the potential of a video creation contract.

Topics covered from very basic algebra all the way through algebra II. This is the best algebra playlist to start at if you've never seen algebra before. Once you get your feet wet, you may want to try some of the videos in the "Algebra I Worked Examples" playlist.
