A terrific resource for 21st century English teachers - podcasts explaining puzzles in grammar.

I have integrated the use of this tool into my ESL lessons. ESL students may have difficulty identifying locations of errors in their paper. Grammarly identifies locations that there may be an issue. A student may not know how to use an online spelling and grammar checker properly. These tools only provide suggestions, not answers. Students need practice applying the principles they either know or need to learn based on recommendations from the tool. This tool has browser plugins so students can check the grammar of their emails as well. There is a free and paid version of Grammarly.

When I've thought of the Khan Academy website, I used to think of the great deal of content there that is focused on Math and Science, with smaller sections for History and Economics. There is a much smaller but very useful section of the website focused on Grammar.

This is widely-regarded as the best online Spanish-English dictionary. Searches yield detailed results, including forum discussions, relevant grammar links, and verb conjugators. (Other languages are included, but I can't personally speak to their usefulness.)

The Spanish section of this language-learning site organizes a wide variety of authentic materials and activities (many interactive). This educational video site has many Spanish resources (and tons of other topics). Though not as organized as Ver-taal or Zambombazo, there are many good grammar videos to benefit Spanish students.

This is a fabulous site for finding resources for students who need immediate help, especially in grammar. There are links to unit and lessons plans for a variety of works of literature, including recent ones. When I need something quickly, this is my favorite page to which I refer!
