Amazing resource website for smartboard lessons. It seems that the big drive these days is to get a smartboard in your classroom (at least in elementary.) The question is what do you do with it once it's there? Unitl you are comfortable with reating your own lessons (and this does take some time to do because there are so many resources) it's very helpful to have a resource that has MANY already designed smart lessons available. From the home page click on Smart -> Lessons. Additionally, these lessons can be downloaded and manipulated to meet the individual teacher's needs.

I might be breaking the mold here, but I love this program. This is a great program that is open sourced and is better then Inspiration. Tufts University has developed this to help educators better organize visual learning. I beleive that visula learning is just one way to teach to the three types of learning.

This site is a source for web 2.0 sites for educators. It has a very nice sorting feature a ton of web 2.0 websites. The vast majority of them are free.

It is a website dedicated to the topic of bring 1 to 1 laptops to schools. It has information and discussion around this specific topic.

This Masters program in Educational Technology has course descriptions that rarely include references to their students learning how to use technology.

I have been using this Web site as a resource since I first started in educational publishing way back in 1998. This has been a long-term and consistent source for information, ESL expert reviewers, and just general discussion around what needs to happen for English-language learners to have success in school. If you have ESL students and are not sure what to do for them, this is a great place to start and to find individuals who are willing to give tips and support your efforts.

This site has the most information of any of the sites I found. In addition to text and photographs, there are also videos, lesson plans, and information about the scientists who study the biomes.

Zotero is a free, easy-to-use tool to help you collect, organize, cite, and share your research sources. It lives right where you do your work-in the web browser itself. It has an awesome add-on for Firefox that helps stay organized and cite references.
