The Math League - 2 views

The Math League is dedicated to bringing challenging mathematics materials to students. Questions on the contests never require any mathematics beyond the grade level tested. They're fun too! In addition, clicking on the 'Help Facility' link offers students, parents, and teachers additional strategies for review and explanation of key skills.

Amazing resource website for smartboard lessons. It seems that the big drive these days is to get a smartboard in your classroom (at least in elementary.) The question is what do you do with it once it's there? Unitl you are comfortable with reating your own lessons (and this does take some time to do because there are so many resources) it's very helpful to have a resource that has MANY already designed smart lessons available. From the home page click on Smart -> Lessons. Additionally, these lessons can be downloaded and manipulated to meet the individual teacher's needs.

Great resource for K-12 teachers... especially if you have a smartboard in your classroom.

This is a great resource site for K-12 teachers. Step 1 is getting the technology into the classroom, but it's useless unless teachers have training and resources that can best take advantage of their (the technology and the students) capabilities.
