The multinational organization TÜV Rheinland has recently announced the creation of their first Blockchain certifications in association with Blockchain Council, aimed for the consultants, developers, and experts in the field of Blockchain.

This is our school's Facebook page. It is a good example of using Facebook to communicate with students, parents, and community members. It posts weekly newsletters, event photos, announcements, and allows for comments. 600+ people 'like' this page, which is twice the number of students who attend school.

This high school uses Twitter to tweet updates, links, resources, and announcements to students about the library media center. With over 600 followers, this is an excellent example of using social media can reach and inform students.

Wow! The Power of Visual Media! Even if you aren't in Second Life, this is a must see for the potential in education and the message.

Southeast China's Shenzhen city Nanshan district government has announced an agreement with the multinational telecommunications and consumer electronics giant Huawei to promote the adoption of blockchain, among other technologies, in the region.

Horizon announced that SkyWeaver Preseason has come to an end, and Season 0 officially starts on March 21. The new season will be live until the launch of SkyWeaver's open-beta version. SkyWeaver is a collectible card game (CCG) where players acquire cards for excelling that can be traded like any other Ethereum-based asset.

Google announced new hardware, Android software compatibility, and other improvements meant to make Chromebooks even more welcome in the classroom. The changes--plus updates to the company's suite of education products--could extend Google's influence over the American school system. Chromebooks are popular with schools because they're much cheaper than PCs or tablets.

This RTNDF (Kent State University High School Broadcast Journalism) Listserv has been one of the absolute best resources I've had in my teaching career. The ability to ask questions to other teachers across the United States who are in my discipline, tackling similar problems/challenges has created, for me, my own Professional Learning Network. I LOVE this group and recommend you find a listserv if one is available in your discipline as well.
