This SLURL includes a library of archives about aeronautics. It is overwhelmed with information. The ones I would choose to use for my students (primary children K-6) would be the Women in flight, the reference desk, pictures/gallery of astronauts (which includes pictures of astronauts landing on the moon), and gallery of African American pilots.

This is a great interactive science museum featuring nasa artifacts and space facts. You can even travel to Mars and explore the surface!

Thanks for sharing this site I really enjoyed it. In 8th grade science we teach a unit on Astronomy. I liked being able to travel and see the Earth from space.

This site has been around since 1999 and reportedly has a player base of more than one million. Whyville works directly with the Getty, NASA, the School Nutrition Association, and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. Players, or "citizens" earn a salary of "clams", a virtual currency, by participating in a wide range of educational games and activities. Whyville has become involved in a number of projects aiming to encourage children to consider technical and scientific careers.
