"Linking, developing and supporting English Language Teaching professionals worldwide" is the motto of IATEFL. I think it is one of the biggest field in ELT. There are many seminars, webinars and also some articles are done under the cover of this community. It is really appreciated but to join you need to pay around 56 $.

Similar to IATEFL, TESOL is one of the biggest online communities for English Language Teachers, of which I am also a member. The interest sections let you get updates or questions from your peers all over the world on the subjects you are most interested in (e.g. Materials writing, Intercultural Competence, LGBTI issues, Research, Pronunciation..)

It is an online community of practice (oCoP) for ICT teachers in Turkey. Although there are many oCoPs in Facebook, this forum is quite active and several messages are sent every day.
